I love this house that is right up the hill from my apartment . I walk past it on my morning walks. It was being remodeled until I walked past it today and noticed there was no more construction going on. I also heard some lovely music coming from the balcony like hammerstien or copeland . Old romantic music. Anyway I decided to take a chance and knock on the door and tell the occupant that they lived in my dream house and I wondered how they came to have it. An older really nice women answered the door and she offered to show me around. The inside was beautiful, decorated the way I would do it. All whites and creams and paintings by dutch masters. So now I know what the outside and inside of my dream house looks like. This women and her husband own and lease the house across the street , so that's another possibility. This is how I got my dream apartment, by wandering around in a neighborhood I loved but didn't think I could afford until I found my apartment . So I know it works .
