The right fit career

Universe, I need to manifest a steady career for at least the next four years so I can focus on study and family.

Manifesting desires

I posted on here a few months ago about a new venture, and was given tons and tons of positive energy! I've always wanted to design my own clothes and to sell them, and although I haven't actually made much of a profit YET ;-) I'm very happy that I have finally started to move down that path! In January, I started selling my clothes on etsy.com, and had one primary design that was primarily costume based. I still do this, but now I'm beginning to move into fun, vibrant, sexy garments that can be worn in the costume sphere, or everyday.

The work and belief that people wanted what I had to offer really paid off!! Moving forward and not being afraid of my desires really helped me, and gave me the reassurance to keep going and do more! Now, I'm in the middle of making some new prototypes (I've made 2, but have another 2-3 designs in mind!) I'm still nervous and do the: "well what if this flops and I'm out all this money?" -or- "what if i'm off the mark by a LONG shot?" but now I feel secure enough to do it anyways, and just believe that I am offering something that others would want, rather than just providing the same thing that we all see over and over again.

Due to my new "abundance" of personal wealth and security, I'm beginning to donate a few $$ of each purchase to a charity or non-profit organization. By giving me a hand, I am now capable of helping others. I believe that I receive plenty through the universe, and that this will only continue and expand the more I put into it, and I want to pass the abundance along. Thank you you guys, your support has meant a ton to me!!

The concept that we are at the threshold of a 'new age' is well established in the collective mindset. However, the term 'New Age' has become associated with a broad spectrum of contemporary practices, some of sound origin, some riding the bandwagon that has created a ‘new spiritual supermarket’. After all of the workshops, all of the healing practices and tools, all of the questing and personal growth, are we collectively shining a brighter light that has impact? How much have we collectively created a pattern where it is easier to seek healing than to be healed? It can be safer to pretend to have dysfunctions than to stop pretending that we are not powerful and beautiful.

Are you living an engaged life?

I ask myself, am I living an engaged life?
I am exercising several days a week. I go to school to use my mind. I have people in my life who care about me and I care about. I have a career I am working on that is meaningful and ever evolving. I love my life. I love being physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually healthy. I don't take it for granted as I spent my 20's feeling numb, depressed, shut down. My energy is way up because I got it flowing. I learned that I needed to express my anger, sexuality, joy, goodness, etc... With like minded folks. I put myself in places that I could and continue to do that. I have gifts that not everyone has. I am very empathetic and I care about the health of everyone. I can work in situations where I use those gifts. A small thing but it's huge actually, people don't know how to eat. A lot of people eat to survive but they are not eating for healthy and optimal functioning. I can help with that. As a society we are not even eating with sanity yet. I can teach people how to eat. We also don't move enough, I can teach people how to move.

Are you living an engaged life?
My engaged life includes: relationships that are a joy to be in. Where we are kind and funny and good to each other for a long time. This world is one where I have meaningful work that benefits humanity. This world is an engaged world, where I am and fully present with all that I encounter.

Decisions- universal support

Hi- a quick question: I am a vegan and the gift of food was given to me by a very special and gifted chef. However, I am also a quasi- semi- professional who has been pursuing a career in consulting although the universe has given me lots of support around the food issue-- i.e., a business of some sort. The decision I made was to pursue the consulting thing and just keep cooking with the idea that if I realy want to develop the food thing that will happen but-- one thing at a time. How do you know when you are not doing gods--the universes will-- and if I am just being obsninate?? Maybe I should just let go of the consulting and develop the food buiness. How do you know? I have committed to consulting which is a big deal for me because I have a hard time committing to anything!!! Any thoughts...thanks.

fear of success

can somebody expand on the "success" idea, please... i feel stuck here at the moment...

i was told i'm afraid of success.. i've found some truth in it...

it was triggered (again) by a friend, excellent poi dancer but with less than 20 performances in her life - making visitcards and her fire performance website...

and then i took a look at my self with over 200-300 (fire) performances + theatre and music gigs, almost 10 years experience in it... and just working with the flow... not taking care if i have good photos, videos ... my work was my advert... adn that was/is enough...
it works for me...
and in addition to it - my steady everyday job is to teach poi and hoop...
i am a professional even if i didn't want to call myself like that...
but i still don't...

and i feel small when in contrast to someone like her handing out their card to me and... well, stupid... coz i still give out my number on a piece of paper (or even write it on a hand :o)))...
i've been called irresponsible, too (by another well meaning friend who would like to see me shine more)... ouch!

how can other people find courage, right in-the-face to declare themselves professional... go into bussiness... waay before some "reasonable" timeframe of becoming authenic...
and i feel resistance to it?
the very idea makes me blush?
and didn't even occur to me (even to resist it) long after my first 100 performances?

how do i pass over this fear/sentiment when thinking about presenting myself as professional since it feels like such a big part of who i am?
is there a way and will i loose my good old self that created all the things that worked for me untill now and keep on working? will the passion and the "call" go away with learning to "do it right"?
will i stop being "called" by the sweet voice of "god" to do poi when i start doing something i feel like "pushing it"?

i'm sure this doesn't only relate to art but to any profession that feels more like a "call " than a profession...
help me, dear friends, if you have any experience with these types of sentiments...

Fear of Happiness?

I like to post articles to give a bit fuller picture of where I am coming from. So that is below after my post itself:

Fear of Happiness is such like fear of success. It's means moving through the same negative voices that we hear in our heads. I particularly hear my grandma's ( very similar to my mothers) voice which basically says " there is no use, life is miserable then you die" She was a depression era catholic, married to an abusive man, with four kids by age 25, so she had a lot to be unhappy about, her attitude the greatest hindrance. Thankfully I have the opposite voice on the other side, the side that had slavery as a recent family reality and being educated , healthy and free was always appreciated.
I find my fears of happiness pop in dating and school a lot. I am dating some good guys and they do nice things for me and I think I could be happy basically with them, and then I find some minor fault or I'm not crazy attracted to them or maybe it's just not right. I also have lost some important people I was in relationship to , so I fear that loss again.
School is challenging for too many reasons to go into here.
My friend's mom ( who must be the coolest mom on earth) made me a bracelet and gave it to me the other day. I was scared somehow and over whelmed. It's a beautiful bracelet that matches perfectly with a ring I got myself a long time ago. This is the mom energy I have always wanted, the kind that is warm and giving and juicy. My actual mom is pretty distant emotionally, kind of aloof, even though I know she cares.
Basically I am being gifted by the universe more and more these days and I really appreciate it and fear it too.
What if I find the right guy, settle down and know that myself, my relationship and our children are well cared for by us and him? What if I get more than enough clients to support myself and help people realize there own inner strength and happiness? What if everything works out?
I'm not asking a question as much as wanting to create space for anyone to talk about there experiences . We can also just put it out there that our intention is to be happy. A happiness that comes from within and spreads to help other realize there own happiness. I do think it's is our birth right ( as the body of god or the way god expresses itself in the universe) and we deserve happiness.
I particularly like this line "As we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." It is when we liberate ourselves from our fear of happiness that we can help others." Cheers to that and thanks for being on the path with me.

When we do not feel that we are worthy of happiness, we cannot possibly feel worthy of the good things in our lives, the things that bring us happiness. Because we do not believe we actually deserve them, that they could really be ours, we fear their loss. This fear causes actual behaviors that lead to a self-fulfilling prophecy: our fear of loss creates actual loss; our feelings of being unworthy of happiness in fact lead to unhappiness.

A person who fears loss may protect himself by ensuring that he has nothing to lose. When we are happy, we have a lot to lose. To avoid the devastation of a loss, we exclude the possibility of any gain. We fear the worst and thus, from the outset, deprive ourselves of the best.

Even if we do find happiness, we might feel guilty because there are other people who are less fortunate. The implicit, and false, assumption underlying such sentiments is that happiness is a zero-sum game--that one person's happiness (our own) necessarily deprives others of theirs. Williamson says, "As we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." It is when we liberate ourselves from our fear of happiness that we can help others.

Let's do this ... Dream house challenge!

I love this house that is right up the hill from my apartment . I walk past it on my morning walks. It was being remodeled until I walked past it today and noticed there was no more construction going on. I also heard some lovely music coming from the balcony like hammerstien or copeland . Old romantic music. Anyway I decided to take a chance and knock on the door and tell the occupant that they lived in my dream house and I wondered how they came to have it. An older really nice women answered the door and she offered to show me around. The inside was beautiful, decorated the way I would do it. All whites and creams and paintings by dutch masters. So now I know what the outside and inside of my dream house looks like. This women and her husband own and lease the house across the street , so that's another possibility. This is how I got my dream apartment, by wandering around in a neighborhood I loved but didn't think I could afford until I found my apartment . So I know it works .
I challenge you to walk around your ideal neighborhood and find your dream house , knock on the door, see what happens. Report back.

Law of vibration?

This is an article about the law of vibration, which is the law of attraction and manifesting abundance as I see it.
Anyway, my question is: If we are setting our own vibration to the highest frequency we can to attract something specific into our lives, how do we know what that other thing's vibration is?
For instance , I want Ryan Gosling. He seems shiny, bright , optimistic and yet down to earth, great energy. How would I know that I am vibrating at exactly his vibration unless he showed up in my life?
Is the point to let go of expectations ( ofcourse it is) and let whatever comes our way come our way?

Science and Metaphysics agree. The essence of all things is vibration. Science reveals that everything in the manifest universe is ultimately composed of packets of energy; quantized units vibrating at specific frequencies. Esoteric wisdom reveals that in the beginning, all things were created through sound (i.e. vibration); whether it be the "OM" of Eastern mysticism or the "Word"/Logos of Western spirituality.

Our thoughts, feelings and actions also have their own particular rates of vibration. These vibrations will set up resonance with whatever possesses identical frequency. In other words, your thoughts are inseparably connected to the rest of the universe.

This is why it is so essential to be a close observer of yourself. As you think, feel and act, so you create the primary vibration of your being. This fundamental vibration then creates resonance with identical vibration frequencies in the universe. The result is an attraction of circumstances, people, challenges and opportunities in exact vibrational resonance with your own dominant vibration frequency.

This principle lies at the heart of visualization techniques, affirmations and the whole personal development movement. When you visualize and repeat affirmations, you are helping to tune your very being to a specific vibrational frequency on the inner planes. Once that task is achieved, your mind comes into vibrational resonance with the object of your desires. Being now of the same frequency, this object (or goal) is inevitably attracted into your life.

However, for such methods to work, it does imply that you have changed your core vibration. This is very often the problem AND explanation as to why such techniques seem to fail for so many people. Over the course of many years, your inner conditioning is created from the habitual thoughts, feelings and actions that you engage in. This forms your self-image and creates the level of self-esteem you feel. It shapes the way you conceptualize the world you live in, as well as the way you respond to it. It is how you interpret your life experiences.

If a person simply mouths affirmations or writes goals out, without having touched the deep bedrock of their long-term conditioning, such activities will not have much effect. This is because the dominant vibration has not changed. You cannot go against what your self-image, and your predominant conditioning, say you are.

Thought is where it all begins. As your conscious mind dwells habitually on thoughts of a certain quality, these become firmly imbedded within the subconscious mind. They become the dominant vibration. This dominant vibration sets up a resonance with other similar vibrations and draws them into your life. This is easier to understand if you consider that from the metaphysical view, the whole universe IS MIND.

Hence, to draw what you wish into your life, you should begin with the mind, and make it your primary focus. Most people do things the other way around, and come up with practical techniques to generate their desires, and then go out and try them. However, when these methods are not in tune with your dominant vibration, then you will have great difficulty making the desired results come to pass. You will also feel most uncomfortable if they do. You have trained your mind in a certain way, you have set the thermostat at a certain level, and now you are trying to exceed the limits you have set upon yourself by sheer force.

The trap most people fall into is that they condition their future with expectations from their past. It's like driving with your eyes fixed on the rear view mirror the whole time. You cannot see where you are going because you are too busy looking back on past history. Is it any wonder that, for most people, the future DOES closely resemble the past?!

The problem is that, by focusing continually on what you have become as a result of past conditioning, you guarantee that you draw this same dominant vibration into the future. This is also why your desired future can seem so far away from you. It is vibrating at an alien frequency and hence, in a real sense, it IS very far away.

Instead, you have to first change the dominant vibration within. Once your dominant vibration is in harmony with what you seek, the latter must literally be "attracted" to you without excessive striving! It will seem easy in comparison to what came before. In a very real sense, you have to become what you seek on the inside before you can ever have it in physical reality.

There are several ways to gradually change the dominant vibration of your inner being, and begin to resonantly attract what you seek. One important thing to do is to have a clear vision of your life as you want it to be; completely independent of the circumstances of your present or past. Lack of absolute clarity about their desired future could well be the number one reason why people fail in life.

You are creating something new from the universal intelligence, and drawing it into your reality. You do NOT have to base this upon the past, your perceived weaknesses, or anything else that derives from your limited self-image.

A good way to gain clarity is to write down in detail the attainment of what you seek. What would it look like? How would you feel if you achieved it? What difference would it make to your life? It may take you days, or even weeks, to create this vision, but it is time well spent.

By creating a vision of your desired state and putting energy into it regularly, you use mind power to shape the very stuff of creation. You create this imagined "reality" in your mind to the point where your subconscious actually believes it to be physical reality and goes about making it so. It will attract the circumstances, the people, and the opportunities you need to bring about the vision you have created.

If you are doubtful about this, consider for a moment that you are doing this anyway. The only difference is that you may be unaware you are doing it. If so, your overall vibration is incoherent, and hence your results fluctuate wildly. By becoming conscious, you take conscious control of the creative process and can learn to manifest at will.

Another way to change your vibration rate is to act "as if". If you had already attained what you seek, how would you think and act? Well, start thinking and acting that way right now. Again, this helps to impress the dominant vibration you choose upon your subconscious mind. Again, you have been doing this all your life anyway. Simply take conscious deliberate control of the process from now on. For instance, Cary Grant is known to have said:

"I acted like Cary Grant for so long, I became him."

Taking time to meditate regularly on the truth that all is vibration, seeing this reality in all is myriad guises, will also help reinforce it upon your mind - both conscious and subconscious. You will begin to believe it, and what you believe is what you act upon.

The reason most people achieve very little in comparison to what they are capable of is because they have no vision for the future whatsoever. Focused, single-minded concentration upon a vision you seek to create is what will actually cause it to happen. You have to read your description every day (preferably twice or more), and then vividly imagine it. Begin to live that reality now in your mind's eye, and you make its future manifestation all the more rapid. Do not even worry about how it will happen. Just do your part and let the universe, through the law of vibration, do the rest.

I wish to put my focus on evolving my language, rather than semantic debates or 'rules of proper language',
because I take a stand behind words having power.
So rather than saying "Ask and you shall receive," I say "Ask and it is given"!
This is for two reasons:
To remind me that I am part of a Universal family that is willing to invest in my growth,
and also to remind me that it is all up to me TO receive, as well as to recognize when I'm being given a gift!

"The Laws of Attraction are a beautiful, wondrous force of the universe but, when we use them primarily as a tool of acquisition, we are both missing the point and creating a mis-balance. It may not be a question of deserving - we all "deserve" our elbows and our noses. We all deserve to be happy but, if we make that happiness contingent on outside forces, elements, things and people, then we will never be happy because those are all fleeting and the acquisition - the "collecting" of those things that we think will make us happy may only be an act of self-centeredness... which can only lead to jealousy, envy and disappointingly "failed experiments in the laws of attraction."

Kundalini yoga, psycho-therapy, healing, energy, etc...

I'm looking for something or someone specific. I want to learn Kundalini yoga, I think now is a perfect time for me to do that. I also would love to tie it into my learning to become a psycho-therapist and my own practice of mediation. I am always looking to connect the dots.
Does anyone know of a person ( maybe a funny, fearless women or a sensual, gentle man or any combination thereof) who I could consult with. I really would like to have a conversation about energy and psychology and whatnot and how Kundalini may help me and my clients in that area. The large pciture is to have a relationship other therapist/ body workers who can compliment me and my client's psycho-therapy work.

FOOD !.........

I think half of what we manifest in our lives may be directly related to what we eat. I have recently become aware/ obsessed with all that I take into my body. The food being the biggest one, but beverages, thoughts, vibes, emotions from other people. I'm so spongle like , I have to be around influences that are worthy of sponging up.
I feel like eating meat is not in line with my integrity ( some how eating fish doesn't bother me). Also alcohol bothers me more than usual.
( I know I've posted about this ( food issues) before but not in a manifesting sense.
What do you think? Have you come to a point where you were really manifesting some stuff well and felt the food issues pulling at you? How does your diet effect you? Is it important to you to eat in alignment with your values? I want to be as clear as I can be , what do you recomend food wise for that?

Maybe I just need to pass him on the street, a small conversation may be enough. A shared meal could be totally fulfulling. I won't know until I get there.

S.O.S. need to manifest a job ASAP

I don't know what to say. I was doing well and then boom! I am nearly homeless and that is the truth..no money..no family or friend support...no credit cards. I have been looking for work for the past 7 months (actually longer becuase I took the any old job unloading semis which nearly destroyed my back) I am a college professor of art..was a college professor of art. Since I was laid off I have applied to over 500 jobs without an iterview. I am begging for help to manifest. When you look at my resume (curriculum vite) it seems like wow...but 2 jobs only lasted for a few months due to me being moral and standing up for the weak.
Please send advice..if I have done what you advice I will tell you..cause I have tried everything..everything.
Please help me to manifest a job before I go homeless. Thank you.

has anyoen read the book?

I am rather interested inthis as I just attended a biznik group an done person wass there who had read the book 3 times.
He said due ot readign the bokk and applying the principles he can make traffic lights green get parking places and much more.

He repeated himself 3 times. The entire group meeting was an incredible work tank think experience.

We wrote action steps - one of mine is to reduce time on tribe. I am now working on more creative money generating activities. however I do not believe that some things happen in a certain way.

I know and believe in balance - when I am too far off - I adjust. I love tribe, and have gained much here. My next focus isr eally a journey which few on here have posted. Please comment about the book; new pratical manifesting or new journeys.

At night sometimes the world seems so topsy-turvy and you're so weary of doing things the same old way. Then nothing seems to please....You try desperately for something new and different, something that doesn't seem so much like you. Why? Tonight you are different.

One cannot expect the world to be top side up all the time. Such perfection does not come so easily to human nature. And always there is a search for something new and different. A change of pace.....that thought that I don't want to be me today, to think my thoughts and do my daily chores. I want to make a complete change now, to know a whole new way of life. And it is good to leave behind the many daily situations that sometimes stand too closely to be seen clearly, but to be wise enough to know which things should be left behind.

There have been clean sweeps that have left behind the dearest things.....and have taken along the same dreary, dark unhappy things of the mind that should have been left behind.

A line from the prayer of serenity is "The wisdom to know the difference...." And wisdom, says Samuel Taylor Coleridge, is common sense in an uncommon degree. If one has the wisdom to wait a bit, wait until morning - or several mornings - that uncommon degree of common sense will give us the wisdom to know the difference.

Fake it till You Make it.

so there is a whole school of "call yourself a millionaire, call yourself wealthy - and it will happen"
as a visualization technique...

I have been thinking about this, and this is my own experience...
so I will relate it from there.

I tried this for a while, and on short term there were temporary increases in cashflow...
but one day I woke up and realized...
I was essentially telling myself a lie.
or at least a fib.

So... now, I had established in my own mind... the reality, that I am willing to lie to myself...
I had become untrustworthy to myself.

If I fill my head with affirmations that speak to place I am not really at...
If I am trying to reprogram my mind into believing something that is not yet true...
then I am also programming it to have Lies as its internal programing...
Lies, half truths and fabrications become the cogs to the brain machine.

So, to my way of thinking... this sets up faulty brain machinery.

There are plenty of times where I get the urge to "fake it till I make it" now - but...
in reality... I can do anything with my life - given enough time, information and resources - ANYTHING.
The only thing stopping me from doing the things that I really want to do... is fear.

So... what do we do with our fear?
mask it with lies... patina fear in affirmation - maybe this doesn't really address the fear... just colors it.
Convincing ourselves that something does or doesn't exist - doesn't make that reality come true... it takes action.
And it takes courage.

genuinely interested in dialogging on this... this is a new dawning realization for me, so I am still processing it, so I please... lets talk about it.

That feeling....

I was at Agape this morning and I recognized this feeling. It's has to do with vibration and high vibrations around and within me. I feel it as a warmth, it feels like I am swiming in warm water ( but I'n not really), sometimes there is a feeling of slowness like I am walking through molases. There is a reaction of me not wanting it to stop but it's there for a fairly long time. I experience this several times a week lately. I experiences it with my therapist . I experience it while dancing sometimes. I did feel some of it during mediation ( but not as much as with Agape). It's really great and I'm glad to have a lot of it these days. It waxes and wains . But somehow I know I will find it again, ( like with my therapy apoinment and agape) . Does anyone know what it is? Or why it's there? ( maybe the why is not important) . I see it as a good sign on my path. What do you think?

I ended up visiting a Zen center in 1986 and that’s when I figured out what I was doing. I guess growing up with my dad, being a change master, moving over 60 times in my life, it was just part of who I am....

I kept saying over the last 20 years...."it’s not what's so, it's so what". Werner’s aphorism gave me these words to chant, to repeat everyday, for the peacefulness of a present mind in all my moments. Every time I worried, it made me peaceful. Every time I had to adjust to another move, it gave me strength to be the new kid on the block again. Every time I was alone, it made me have strength in being alone, the understanding that we are always alone, but we choose to be with other people anyways because it’s all about showing up. All this gave me understand in action without the constraints the past or my beliefs had on my greatest possible futures.

“The truth believed is a lie”, “but if you experience it” (Werner said), that was the truth, I just can't hold onto the perception of truth in my brain, so I must run with my assumptions for now.

My listening & speaking is always my spirit (me), but my actions are my pattern machine, so I must use my speaking in thoughts and words to correct that illusion that my pattern machine is me, the spirit of possibility.

Like my thoughts, my integrity is another thought, I choose to recreate it in the world every moment and I speak a mantra of a perspective of choice rather then decision

Wow my life is working well. I am like 95% great almost all the time. The only exception seems to be money wise.
I wonder if I am sabtaging my success in some way. I'm conscious of it so that's good. I'm now more than ever happy that I have aquired skills that are useful and necesarry and part of my divinity even ( I'm almost done with the school part of becoming a marriage and family therapist) . I have eons of family habits of poverty. I have onvercome so much other destructive/ dysfunctional family patterns, I know I can overcome this one too. Plus it''s obvisouly not just me, we are going through some new economy grwoing pains. Here's hoping we all make it through it and let's all have money abundance NOW!.

my personal abundance project

hell-o!

well, lets see here....i have been trying to align my intent and happiness by using the law of attraction for a while now. currently speaking, i am finishing up my first college degree (woo hoo!!) but i'm also stuck with the reality of the job market (total bummer). i am currently at a place where I am finishing up an internship, and about to start looking for a proper job. in last several months, i have intermittently invested energy into testing and selling some of my creations. My current goal is to be able to at least partially support myself (and i would love to do it full time!) through the clothes that I make. I believe that the law of attraction works and has given me much assistance throughout this process- - - I have always been rewarded for the energy that i put out. It would be an honor for me if someone (anyone?) in this network would check out what I have made, or even refer me to someone that may like what I am doing.

I have this vision of true love as a love that pierces right through a person. It sends out a wave from deep within and goes right to and then through the other person. It eminates from one soul and goes through the other person's personality, their layers right to their soul.
It isn't a possesion, like it doesn't belong to one person. It starts in the "soul" realm, or another place entirely and moves through me toward certain people, places, concepts, etc.. It isn't mine to keep. I let it move through me, express through me. And in that way it is me.

It also is dangerous and radical because it doesn't even know about personality and this-worldly things. It isn't marriage. It will bring up all that is not love around it. It is more than this life, it transcends death and time and space. And it is the most powerful force on this earth. It powers evolution. It is what everything is ultimately made of. It is all there is.

Manifesting brings up fear and some sadness......

I feel like I am manifesting so many great things in my life.... career , people, love, support.
I still get these pangs of fear. A big one is money. I now see how I come from a family that is/was stuck in poverty thoughts. Even when there is some money, the thoughts of abundance don't attach quite like the thoughts/fears of poverty. Same with men. I probably am attracting into my life the best men I ever have ( going to the gym almost every day doesn't hurt either) and still I wonder what I will do with a guy who really wants to be there for me, doesn't need me, can take care of his own business and still has the time to love me well. Wow, who will I be when that happens? ( the even more real me actually)
How do you all deal with the fear, the doubt, the sadness that comes up ? I feel it bubble to the surface often these days. Maybe it all just needs to bubble up or burn off.

I'm getting good at attracting good stuff into my life. I have some good , real , positive friends now.
I am healthy and getting to the wieght I want to be at .
I live where I want to live ( near the beach), I study what I want to study ( psychology). I'm getting ready for the next step in my studies ( graduation) .
And I have attracted the best guy into my life. He's everything I want, kind, funny, sexy, takes good care of himself, there for me when I need him , etc... He's also unavailable for a romantic relationship. Which may be just what I need right now, not being in a romantic relationship . He represents the path I will be on, partnership with a man who is great in so many way. It also stands for me not ever going back to disrespect and dysfunctional relationships.
What do you make of me attracting the Right guy, he's just not available for the whole relationship with me now?

Impending Destruction of the US Economy

11/28/07 "ICH" -- --- Hubris and arrogance are too ensconced in Washington for policymakers to be aware of the economic policy trap in which they have placed the US economy. If the subprime mortgage meltdown is half as bad as predicted, low US interest rates will be required in order to contain the crisis. But if the dollar’s plight is half as bad as predicted, high US interest rates will be required if foreigners are to continue to hold dollars and to finance US budget and trade deficits.

Which will Washington sacrifice, the domestic financial system and over-extended homeowners or its ability to finance deficits?

The answer seems obvious. Everything will be sacrificed in order to protect Washington’s ability to borrow abroad. Without the ability to borrow abroad, Washington cannot conduct its wars of aggression, and Americans cannot continue to consume $800 billion dollars more each year than the economy produces.

A few years ago the euro was worth 85 cents. Today it is worth $1.48. This is an enormous decline in the exchange value of the US dollar. Foreigners who finance the US budget and trade deficits have experienced a huge drop in the value of their dollar holdings. The interest rate on US Treasury bonds does not come close to compensating foreigners for the decline in the value of the dollar against other traded currencies. Investment returns from real estate and equities do not offset the losses from the decline in the dollar’s value.

China holds over one trillion dollars, and Japan almost one trillion, in dollar-denominated assets. Other countries have lesser but still substantial amounts. As the US dollar is the reserve currency, the entire world’s investment portfolio is over-weighted in dollars.

No country wants to hold a depreciating asset, and no country wants to acquire more depreciating assets. In order to reassure itself, Wall Street claims that foreign countries are locked into accumulating dollars in order to protect the value of their existing dollar holdings. But this is utter nonsense. The US dollar has lost 60% of its value during the current administration. Obviously, countries are not locked into accumulating dollars.

The reason the dollar has not completely collapsed is that there is no clear alternative as reserve currency. The euro is a currency without a country. It is the monetary unit of the European Union, but the countries of Europe have not surrendered their sovereignty to the EU. Moreover, the UK, a member of the EU, retains the British pound. The fact that a currency as politically exposed as the euro can rise in value so rapidly against the US dollar is powerful evidence of the weakness of the US dollar.

Japan and China have willingly accumulated dollars as the counterpart of their penetration and capture of US domestic markets. Japan and China have viewed the productive capacity and wealth created in their domestic economies by the success of their exports as compensation for the decline in the value of their dollar holdings. However, both countries have seen the writing on the wall, ignored by Washington and American economists: By offshoring production for US markets, the US has no prospect of closing its trade deficit. The offshored production of US firms counts as imports when it returns to the US to be marketed. The more US production moves abroad, the less there is to export and the higher imports rise.

Japan and China, indeed, the entire world, realize that they cannot continue forever to give Americans real goods and services in exchange for depreciating paper dollars. China is endeavoring to turn its development inward and to rely on its potentially huge domestic market. Japan is pinning hopes on participating in Asia’s economic development.

The dollar’s decline has resulted from foreigners accumulating new dollars at a lower rate. They still accumulate dollars, but fewer. As new dollars are still being produced at high rates, their value has dropped.

If foreigners were to stop accumulating new dollars, the dollar’s value would plummet. If foreigners were to reduce their existing holdings of dollars, superpower America would instantly disappear.

Foreigners have continued to accumulate dollars in the expectation that sooner or later Washington would address its trade and budget deficits. However, now these deficits seem to have passed the point of no return.

The sharp decline in the dollar has not closed the trade deficit by increasing exports and decreasing imports. Offshoring prevents the possibility of exports reducing the trade deficit, and Americans are now dependent on imports (including offshored production) for which there are no longer any domestically produced alternatives. The US trade deficit will close when foreigners cease to finance it.

The budget deficit cannot be closed by taxation without driving up unemployment and poverty. American median family incomes have experienced no real increase during the 21st century. Moreover, if the huge bonuses paid to CEOs for offshoring their corporations’ production and to Wall Street for marketing subprime derivatives are removed from the income figures, Americans have experienced a decline in real income. Some studies, such as the Economic Mobility Project, find long-term declines in the real median incomes of some US population groups and a decline in upward mobility.

The situation may be even more dire. Recent work by Susan Houseman concludes that US statistical data systems, which were set in place prior to the development of offshoring, are counting some foreign production as part of US productivity and GDP growth, thus overstating the actual performance of the US economy.

The falling dollar has pushed oil to $100 a barrel, which in turn will drive up other prices. The falling dollar means that the imports and offshored production on which Americans are dependent will rise in price. This is not a formula to produce a rise in US real incomes.

In the 21st century, the US economy has been driven by consumers going deeper in debt. Consumption fueled by increases in indebtedness received its greatest boost from Fed chairman Alan Greenspan’s low interest rate policy. Greenspan covered up the adverse effects of offshoring on the US economy by engineering a housing boom. The boom created employment in construction and financial firms and pushed up home prices, thus creating equity for consumers to spend to keep consumer demand growing.

This source of US economic growth is exhausted and imploding. The full consequences of the housing bust remain to be realized. American consumers lack discretionary income and can pay higher taxes only by reducing their consumption. The service industries, which have provided the only source of new jobs in the 21st century, are already experiencing falling demand. A tax increase would cause widespread distress.

As John Maynard Keynes and his followers made clear, a tax increase on a recessionary economy is a recipe for falling tax revenues as well as economic hardship.

Superpower America is a ship of fools in denial of their plight. While offshoring kills American economic prospects, “free market economists” sing its praises. While war imposes enormous costs on a bankrupt country, neoconservatives call for more war, and Republicans and Democrats appropriate war funds which can only be obtained by borrowing abroad.

By focusing America on war in the Middle East, the purpose of which is to guarantee Israel’s territorial expansion, the executive and legislative branches, along with the media, have let slip the last opportunities the US had to put its financial house in order. We have arrived at the point where it is no longer bold to say that nothing now can be done. Unless the rest of the world decides to underwrite our economic rescue, the chips will fall where they may.

Dr. Roberts was Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury for Economic Policy in the Reagan administration. He is credited with curing stagflation and eliminating “Phillips curve” trade-offs between employment and inflation, an achievement now on the verge of being lost by the worst economic mismanagement in US history.

1.) create those art pieces I have had on the drawing board for way too long (you 3 know who you are - get ready for getting manifested!)

2.) the gym three times a week.

3.) Make a gingerbread house - a really bitchen one!

4.) create a writing regime that I can stick with... one hour a day 4 times a week (minimum)

5.) work on rebuilding my motorcycle. at least get the frame painted by years end.

I am so stoked out and thankful now that I'm on a world tour performing awesome music that incorporates many styles and expresses many feelings but mostly love. I'm a very public advocate of Ghandi's Swarej and permaculture. In my music I promote having fun and solutions. I'm on my tour bus with family and close friends traveling all over the world doing what we most love. The music my cousin and I compose and produce incorporates natural tones and frequencies that express universal principals and resonate with our audience at the level of their souls. Before and after shows I have so much fun! I go base jumping and skydiving as well as body flying (see myspacetv.com/index.cfm )I go dancing, and hook up with larger tours to enjoy other artist's music as well. I have a shitload of money invested in productive assets and plenty on hand, at least enough to keep going indefinitely. My sex life is incredible. I'm in impeccable physical condition, as I consistently practice the Tibetan 5 rites and do resistance training.I've taught myself many things using accelerated methods including Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and French. I peruse and absorb volumes of info on my laptop. I take nootropic drugs herbs and nutrients to enhance my mental capacity. The only other drug I take is DMT. I'm certain my voice, and vibration will set in motion a chain reaction that will help raise consciousness to a level at which the further exploitation of the peoples of earth and earth herself will be an impossibility. Amen.
To all who've read this I ask one thing: Please believe this vision is so, and so it shall be.

I'm new to the group. Its wonderful to find you. I have a question for all of you Manifesters.....

I have no problem attracting amazing things into my life the minute I "cozy up" to the flow of intention in the Universe. There's sort of a process to get there for me. It always involves turning my feelings around to being happy and actively thanking everyone for the abundance and love in my world. But once I'm there (which is often), it feels almost like a muse...as if I want to hold onto that wonderful flow and figure out how to stay there. When I'm in this place, all kinds of job opportunities show up, wealth flows in, friends I've been wanting to connect with call me out of the blue. Everything starts to flow in a beautiful way.

So, when these great things show up in my life (as I've requested them to do), I get overwhelmed by my power to bring them in...questioning if I deserve them, overwhelmed by the unlimited-ness of it all, realizing I have no more excuses to be a victim in any way whatsoever, or feeling like...wow...if I can attract this what if...I...attracted.......

Then I stop myself.

I want to break free of this limited view and really embrace the ride, but sometimes it feels like I'm on a rollercoaster that is going too fast, even though I'm loving the thrill of it.

I realize a lot of this comes from my upbringing...frought with guilt about having things, yadda. yaadda (I'm a therapist, so believe you me...I've reeeeeaaallly examined this stuff ;) ) The voice of my mom and the punishing God comes into my thoughts. Why do I deserve all this when so many are suffering?

Does anyone else relate...? How did you break free of it and bust that glass ceiling to really go unlimited in your abundance?

BTW, I loved the "15 ways to receive" thread. That seems like one way to do it.

serious manifestation is happening NOW

ive been such a powerhouse today, i came back to chicago on july 29. i spent 2 days at my parents house helping my mom heal her leg and then i went back home to the city to pack, clean, organize, etc. and i found myself lost for what to do first. crazy shit. scattered. i also found myself realizing that i wasnt willing to spend the money i had saved through working at the house of blues for three and a half years on living, but only on traveling which became the source of my commitment to make money while im in chicago. but how? so this is august 1. so, i was taking a load to my parents house a few days later and i found so much artwork at their house in their basement that i freaked. i took it all home and photographed it. i want to tell you that since ive been in chicago, i have made (and not spent, i think i spent about $100 of the cash ive made, but i cant say with confidence the exact number) $1035 without having what we call a job! how cool is that?! by selling art on the street, selling art out of my backpack in buildings, getting bad debts paid back, selling furniture, collecting a paycheck from the house of blues, etc. and i feel awesome! also, i made a huge difference today in someones life. a deaf man came to me and asked me for $8.75 to get on the metra. i know this man from my old waitressing job at the house of blues cuz he used to come in and eat and sometimes one of us would get him free food and sometimes hed pay and sometimes id just talk to him, and so, i thought about giving him money. and then i doubted his truths and instead i pulled out $5 and asked him to get the rest from someone else. and he (he says that he talks to me cuz i understand him and no one else seems to. i kind of get sign language, but more importantly i get humans when they speak, no matter the language, right?!) so, he then told me he didnt want trouble with the law or trouble with people or to look like he was asking someone for money, cuz hes not that guy. so i got enrolled with him and went to a someone i know who works at the house of blues and she said no. then we went to the security guard and asked her if she had $3.75, she said no. so i asked if shed mind if we asked other people in the hob area, she said no. so we went to the first next person who introduced us to his friend whos name is Chris, who then said, $375???? and we laughed, and said, no, $3.75 and he said, "hell, ill do that for god" and pulled out a $20 and said "now you have extra money, use it to help someone else and know that i didnt do this, she didnt do this, jesus or god or whatever god you believe in did this!!!" and hell, that was an act of something powerful, whatever we call it....it was awesome! im left moved, touched, and inspired.

this is just what happened today! tomorrow is gonna be even bigger! i love big! shit! i love abundance! i love love! so, im inviting everyone to take a course at landmark education because it is out of this work that i got this day. and furthermore, those of you who live in chicago, im inviting you to an introduction to landmark education. im taking the advanced course right now and it is changing my life. i wanna introduce you to the curriculum because i love you all and i know you will LOVE it and it will make a difference in your life! so. in introducing you to the stuff that is making a huge difference in my life, there are two intro sessions this week. one on tuesday, august 12, and one on wednesday, august 13. both are 7pm-10pm and tuesday is at their building and wednesday is at my house. ill be at both. so, im gonna give you the address for landmark and my address and all that, googlemaps does the most accurate directions out of all the mappers, or at least from the last time i checked. so, yeah...the food that will be at my place will prolly be pizza, unless anyone objects (do you object?). is there anything you dont eat on pizza or in general? since there will be food at my house and a specific number of chairs at landmark, it is imperative that i get confirmations by monday late night for tuesday and by tuesday late night for wednesday so that everything can be set up accordingly.

Hello, all. I am looking to purchase some crystals to be shipped to me, probably purchased from an online website. Do you have any recommendations? Most immediately I am looking for rose quartz crystals and pendants, as well as clear quartz.

I am also looking for a site that has a selection of many different types of crystals in their natural shapes rather than being mounted in jewelry. When I find a physical (as opposed to online) crystal shop I like to browse through and see what speaks to me. I've sometimes been able to do that with online shops, as well, but no longer have any bookmarked.

Fear and doubt hold on to the past. They know only what used to be and what was desired. They know what worked before and what did not. They know what other people have done.

What they do not know is how things are right now, what newness is surrounding you, what possibilities are sparkling around you that have never existed before this very moment. On this, they are completely ignorant.

And since life is change and newness, this is exactly what you need to know, to access. Nothing is ever the way it was. What failed yesterday could succeed today. What was a success yesterday could be a failure today. All is change. All is new, every moment creating
the next moment, all flowing out in newness and discovery, in this great adventure of life.

Open to the new. Use the knowledge and wisdom that you have accumulated over the years; use your talents and skills, of course. But leave behind the old views of what is needed to make your way today, for it is not necessarily the same as what worked for others and worked earlier for you.

Go deep, deep into your center. See the flame that burns there, the light of love. Let that light expand and expand, until it clears your body and mind of fear and doubt. Let it glow within you until you feel cleansed and new, until all worry and anxiety are cleared

Shifting Energy, love prophecy explanation

This previous message was posted as a loving message to get word out about something that I stumbled upon and found to be a great source of hope. It hurts to imagine that such a movement of healing and love as this would be labeled as SPAM. money is not just a piece of paper :o)

i'm doing the Work of Byron Katie and now im at the point that i'm having problems to word some of my stressfull thoughts...
and im determined to 'undo' myself, hehe...
i have found that one 'thing' we are all dealing with is connected to all areas of our lives and the thing is called - money... and that 'thing as an object of self-inquiry carries a lot of energy - so i fidure - strong underlying beliefs are under these othervise meaningless pieces of paper... good oportunity to see beyond the illusion...

so can you give me your brief insights on:
1.how is money connected to love? why would anyone even think of writing a song 'can't buy me love' if some bizare connection didnt exist?
2. how is money connected to health?
3. how is money connected to self-esteem?
4.how is money connected to work?
5. how is money connected to peace?
6.how is money connected to social life?
7. any other important area of life you find money connected to that i have forgotten to mention...

just allow yourself to brainstorm... no need to be positive or try to make too much sense...
nonsense, paradox and 'truth of the moment' are wellcome...
you can lie, too - it just might become my (and somebody else's) revelation, hehe...
